NTU Summer Law Program (July)

July 9–29, 2026 | 21 days | 3 credits


Overview
Since 2013, the NTU College of Law has hosted an international summer program that serves as a preparatory platform for dual degree programs.

This program provides international students with intensive courses at the College of Law, helping the students gain insight into NTU’s academic environment and Taiwanese culture.

Ten sessions have been completed, welcoming 172 students from over ten countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, and China. Feedback from all participants has been overwhelmingly positive.

Program Introduction
The NTU Summer Law Program takes place every July, running for 21 days and offering 54 hours of intensive coursework combined with local cultural activities.
54-Hour Intensive Coursework:
36 hours of indoor classes: Students participate in 3 or 4 courses led by 3 or 4 instructors, focusing on key legal topics.
18 hours of field visits: Tours of 2 law firms and visits to 3 or 4 other law-related institutions.

*The 54 hours of coursework are equivalent to 3 credits in NTU’s short-term program. Students are advised to consult their home institutions and academic advisors in advance to confirm credit transfer eligibility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Students Will Receive:
Admission Letter – Issued after completing the online admission process.
Official Transcript – Issued by NTU upon program completion, recording the grades for each course.
Certificate of Completion – Issued after completing the entire program.

Fees:

  • Application Fee USD 200 + Program Fee USD 3,400 = USD 3,600
  • The Program Fee includes tuition fees, accommodation fees, meals on class days, activity fees, and overseas travel insurance fees.

In response to growing interest in short-term, skills-oriented training, the NTU College of Law introduced the NTU Summer Law Workshop, held every August. This program runs for 12 days and offers 36 hours of coursework, combining classroom learning with field-based experience.
